Professors offer political analysis on youth vote in Oregon

(Portland, Ore.)—John Callahan, Morgan Odell Professor of Humanities, and Robert Eisinger, associate professor of political science, recently spoke with the Seattle Post Intelligencer about the exciting injection of youth participation in Oregon politics this election season.

“They’ve got an operation here that looks like the old grass roots, the Eugene McCarthy and Bobby Kennedy campaigns of 1968: Go down to headquarters in Portland and you’ll see 40 or 50 people under 25,” Eisinger said.
