Theatre professor debuts translation to Portland audiences January 18

(Portland, Ore.)—Associate Professor of Theatre Stepan Simek will direct the U.S. premiere of his translation of the award-winning Czech play “Tales of Ordinary Madness.” The Petr Zelenka play, which has been staged throughout Europe, offers a glimpse into the ordinary absurdity of everyday life in the 21st century.
